Desperate Cries Of Humanity

April/May 2001

Bondage

As if all reason has left me, I am bereft of any understanding at all.
Subject to error, terrors arise in the dark, and yet, the lark of dawn is not forthcoming -
wings bound by profound doubts of what everything is about.

Questions unspoken.

Awoken concerns, and still I learn of fears thought to be resolved -
but - I hold ever tighter.
Is it safer to know of them, show them, grown in them - rather than let go of them?

When will it ever be that I am truly able to expose myself to me? -
rather than furtively denying so much.

Ah! - such is it - in human bondage.
And, instinctively, we pay homage
  to that bondage -
Content to rot in the hell of the spell woven by - no other than me.

I wonder why?
